In this edition of the SVC Podcast, SVC Contributing Editor Bennett Liles talks with Jack Conners of Perfect World Studios in Northwest Michigan. Conners outlines the work he did on the Immaculate Conception Church in Traverse City using a Tannoy QFlex speaker system. The acoustical challenge of the project is explored along with the architectural hurdles in getting wiring to the speakers after the original central speaker cluster was replaced. He also discusses the way he and Marc Warling from Online Marketing used the advanced beam-steering algorithm that allows precise control over the throw of the loudspeaker.
