In this edition, SVC contributing editor Bennett Liles talks with Wayne Pecena of public TV station KAMU at Texas A&M University. Outlined is the station’s use of Streambox video streaming equipment in covering live events on the campus using a mix of full-time technical crew and student assistants. Pecena also describes the KAMU field production units and details the video formats available with the Streambox gear. Wayne reveals the advantage his group has in being organized under the same division as the IT people running the network used by his streaming gear. Links of interest:
