In this edition, SVC contributing editor Bennett Liles talks with Travis Ellis and Tom Yerkes of CompView Audio Visual. They provide details on the AV installation at the new corporate headquarters of mobile phone service provider Cricket Communications in San Diego. In the design concept, Cricket emphasized easy collaboration among staffers, and CompView came up with video-equipped courtyards and cocoon rooms along with an impressive boardroom featuring a multimonitor video design and conferencing. They also discuss how they kept all of the installation phases in correct order during the busy construction period and the earlier concepts that were considered for video monitoring in the boardroom.
