In part one of this podcast, SVC contributing editor Bennett Liles talks with Luke Raymond of Dispersion Design in Carrollton, Texas. He provides the details on a sound system upgrade at the Arapaho Road Baptist Church in Garland, Texas, designed to allow the church to conduct both traditional and contemporary services in the same 700-seat sanctuary with a short turnaround for the equipment reconfiguration. They discuss the Aviom system used and the installation of a hybrid monitoring system with IEM and floor wedges. Raymond also talks about training church volunteers and the transition for performers.
