In this edition, SVC contributing editor Bennett Liles returns to the installation of LED video displays at Pittsburgh’s new Consol Energy Center and talks with Chris Mascatello of ANC Sports about the control aspect of the project. Chris provides a detailed look at the capabilities and learning curve of the Visionsoft control application and takes us behind the scenes to see how video displays are operated during sports events.

In this edition, SVC contributing editor Bennett Liles continues his talk with Josh Jagdfeld, Vice President of Intermedia Systems Group in Burnsville, Minnesota about the total AV upgrade the company performed for Hosanna Lutheran Church in nearby Mankato. Josh discusses the training sessions that the company provided for the church tech volunteers and he points out the advantages of having all of the church pastors use head worn wireless microphones. The RF mic system setup is explored including the placement of log-periodic dipole antennas. They also discuss the details of how the church does stage monitoring with a mix of floor wedges and an in-ear system. Useful links:
