Raymond goes into more detail on the sound upgrade at the Arapaho Road Baptist Church in Garland, Texas done to quicken the turnaround between the traditional and contemporary services in the same 700-seat sanctuary. In this edition, SVC contributing editor Bennett Liles talks with Travis Ellis and Tom Yerkes of CompView Audio Visual. They provide details on the AV installation at the new corporate headquarters of mobile phone service provider Cricket Communications in San Diego. In the design concept, Cricket emphasized easy collaboration among staffers, and CompView came up with video-equipped courtyards and cocoon rooms along with an impressive boardroom featuring a multimonitor video design and conferencing. They also discuss how they kept all of the installation phases in correct order during the busy construction period and the earlier concepts that were considered for video monitoring in the boardroom. In part one of this podcast, SVC contributing editor Bennett Liles talks with Luke Raymond of Dispersion Design in Carrollton, Texas. He provides the details on a sound system upgrade at the Arapaho Road Baptist Church in Garland, Texas, designed to allow the church to conduct both traditional and contemporary services in the same 700-seat sanctuary with a short turnaround for the equipment reconfiguration.
