In this edition, SVC contributing editor Bennett Liles wraps up his discussion with Dan Jamele of Mediamation in Torrence, Calif., regarding the installation of show effects in the Zable Theater at the San Diego Air & Space Museum. Jamele provides a glimpse at what drives the market for museum theaters and offers a look at what they are doing to attract a younger audience. He also goes into detail on the special theater seats produced my Mediamation and takes us behind the scenes to tell about how they work, how they are kept up and running by local staff, and what keeps all of the effects in the theater synchronized. In part one of the SVC Podcast, SVC Contributing Editor Bennett Liles talks with Christian Fuchs of Stage Tec about the production of the opera Aida on the Rhine.
