They follow up from the talk on the Aqua Theater on the cruise ship Oasis of the Seas with some details on the ship’s larger, indoor venue, the Opal Theater. Turpin and Cooper reveal the acoustic considerations given to the theater in the planning stage and outline the challenges involved in providing clear but contained show sound in a large theater aboard the ship. They discuss the HD upgrade for Highlands Community Church, which had to find a different way to expand its growing congregation. ABS provided an HD upgrade, sound, lighting, and a new control room for the church to use in sending its services to satellite congregations in temporary setups many miles away. Siegel provides details on how ABS rigged Christie Digital projectors for IMAG and upgraded electric service for the balcony control room.
