In this edition of the SVC Podcast, SVC Contributing Editor Bennett Liles talks with Les Stephenson of Music Masters in Tallahassee, Fla., about the installation of a new video and surround sound system in the Florida State Senate Chamber. Stephenson details the system concept and talks about the steps taken to deal with the difficult acoustics presented by the presence of a huge metallic dome located over the room. He also discusses the rather creative ways in which equipment is disguised to blend with the room’s décor.

Rick goes into the programming and testing of the QSC Q-Sys Integrated System Platform that connects all sources to all destinations at the Sheraton Fairplex Conference Center in Pomona, California. He also talks about how the Q-Sys is integrated with the facility’s emergency notification system and how CSI Multimedia provided training for the local support crew.
