In this edition of the SVC Podcast, SVC Contributing Editor Bennett Liles continues his talk with Jim Beaumont of HomeTech AV Solutions about a unique project at Taliesin West, the winter home of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. This tourist attraction, second in popularity to the Grand Canyon and main campus of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, recently got an AV upgrade in a stone and concrete room that is 95 percent acoustically efficient. Beaumont of HomeTech AV Solutions completes his story on how Taliesin’s Cabaret home theater was modernized with wireless control.

The desert home’s famous Cabaret theater was fitted out with a new Elan g! control system and Digital Projection E-Vision projector with a 65ft.-throw distance. Beaumont details the challenge of getting signals around the historic stone and concrete building while working around the many visitors to the Arizona attraction second in popularity to the Grand Canyon.
