Frank takes listeners through the details of live video production during games in the arena. He outlines his operation of instant replays and describes how he uses the Broadcast Pix Slate 3016 features such as Fluent Watch-Folders for updating graphics in mid-production. Frank also covers the arena’s new Sony cameras, the audio system and the video feed to the new Daktronics scoreboard.

Michael provides details on the installation of the Sennheiser wireless microphone systems in the steel, glass and concrete environment. The facility is also near a military base, adding to the challenge of RF mic system installation.

Paul provides details on the installation of a new sound system in the sanctuary of St. Nicholas Church in Tarpon Springs, Florida. He describes the system that was there, using ceiling speakers in the walls and HVAC louvers to direct sound downward into the congregation. CSI replaced this primitive system with a Bosch digitally steerable line array.
